Dragons make Wales squad selections

The Senior Men and Senior Women Development Squads' team selections to represent our nation at the upcoming EU Championships have been announced.

Cwm Draig is ecstatic to discover Jo-Jo Chesworth-Rickards of our Senior Women is selected for the Wales Senior Women Development Squad, who start competing at the EU Championships in Brno on November 12th.

We are thrilled for our Senior Men players, Jacob Edwards and Alun Chesworth-Rickards, for making the team selection of Wales' Senior Men Development Squad, who shall be commencing their EU Championships on November 25th in Brno.

We are also pleased to see past players Lewis Gilmour and Faye Warren included in their respective squads. In addition, it is fantastic to see players we collaborated with to achieve past success at the Lyme Regis Water Polo Sea Championships also being named in the squads, including Jack Sanders, Matthew Griffiths, Nia Sanders, Lowri Skyrme and Rosie Griffiths.

In other news, we are delighted for two more of our Dragons, JJ Blassberg and Immie Blassberg, who played at the Inter-Region Friendly Event at Millfield for Youth Boys Development Squad and Youth Girls Development Squad respectively. JJ and Immie both featured, as the Welsh Youth Development squads made preparations for their upcoming Under-16 Inter-Regional tournament.

As Cwm Draig, the competitive water polo club for RCT, we are proud for our athletes to be competing at national level! Our congratulations goes to everyone selected to represent Wales for their respective level and squad - an outstanding achievement for all!
